Girls,
I’m serious. We need to stop being so mean. I thought that when we got older, some of the immature stuff would go away but that’s not been the case. Recently I’ve come into contact with such catty behavior that it’s really baffled me that women still really treat other women like this.

It seems like everyone wants to have a secret to inevitably tell others. Or twist other peoples words. It’s like an act of self defense – let’s make up this lie first before they make up lies about me. But we don’t want to make up lies about you girl! We love you!

Girls, sisters, family, friends, co-workers, so many I’ve seen just lie through their teeth. Stop it. Stop it right now. On behalf of all women out there – STOP IT.

You don’t need to tell little white lies.

You don’t need to keep secrets from each others

You don’t need to constantly stir up drama.

You don’t need to be the one with all the info in order to have value.

You don’t EVER need to make fun of someone else.

I’m so sick of it. I know this is a blog about positivity and light but we also have to cast out the darkness but bringing it to the light.

Be open. Be honest. Put it all on the table. If it doesn’t work out with the people you’re being vulnerable with, then they weren’t your people in the first place.

We rise high by building each other up, not by trampling people to get to the top. And what is the top even? I don’t want to be at the top. I just want to be happy in my own world. The world that I create, not the one that others think I should have.

Get. Yo. Heart. Right.

Figure out why you are the way that you are. And if YOU (not society, not your boyfriend, not your friends) don’t like it – then change it!!!

It’s never too late to be a kind, humble, loving, respectful, bold, caring, gracious, inviting, active in your faith, W-O-M-A-N.
